Curriculum

St. Ann’s Public School is privileged to provide complete schooling for a child from KG to 10th. The school prepares the students for the ICSE board examination. Our daily work of collective worship helps our children grow socially, morally, culturally, and spiritually. We provide an environment that encourages each student to develop self-discipline, organisation, motivation and academic proficiency, making them confident and competent members of society.

St. Ann’s Kindergarten

We are committed to giving a systematic pre-schooling with activity-based learning, listening and understanding skills, moulding good manners, continuous evaluation and value-based education. We celebrate colour days to recognise the different colours of nature. Our children learn other skills like dance, music, listening, and drawing.

St. Ann’s Primary Education

We emphasise providing a child-oriented educational system where children attain self-esteem, character formation, confidence, continuous and comprehensive evaluation through scientific methods.

St. Ann’s High School

We allow our teens to learn valuable life skills and develop the attitudes and skills that support a healthy and fulfilled life and confidence for lifetime learning. Provide good communication skills and writing skills to be more focused and depth in basic concepts. Provide extra care in the weak subjects, support personal development, social responsibility and sense of self-worth.

Special classes and training on values and physical education

It ensures a promising future for weaker students and their progress. A lot of financially disabled students benefit from this session.

Scholarships

Scholarship exams are being conducted in our school to offer self-confidence and support our students who focus on a bright education in the future and support those who want to pursue higher education.

Communicative English

We have a Communicative English department to bring into life the English campus vision of our school. With this in mind, we have instituted specific programmes and systems to ensure our students’ English language skills. As a part of encouraging students to speak English and ensure students’ attention to this language use, we instituted daily newspaper subscription to either The Hindu or Indian Express. This will improve vocabulary and help improve the standard of English in the long run and make our students aware of current events.

Each year we conduct arts and science exhibitions where our students exhibit projects, presentations or products or what they have learned.

  • Science Exhibition
  • Social Studies Exhibition
  • Literature Exhibition
  • Computer Exhibition
  • Mathematics Exhibition

Science Exhibition

Biology Exhibition

The biology exhibition offered children an opportunity to experience various topics under biology visually. Students exhibited many innovative ideas such as an eco-friendly environment, DNA model, different ecosystems, aquarium etc.

Physics Exhibition

Students exhibited many innovative ideas such as hydraulic bridge, Bluetooth electromagnet generator, vacuum cleaner, windmill, kaleidoscope, periscope etc.

Benefits include students getting an opportunity to exhibit their inner talents, strengthening the knowledge of the subject matter, spreading awareness about a particular issue, and developing public speaking skills.

Chemistry Exhibition

The chemistry exhibition focused on the students learning experience and provided an opportunity to present what they attain in the theory class. Our students exhibited interesting and unique experiments in the inaugural ceremony – burning of Magnesium ribbon, and they prepared Hydrogen gas and burned it. They also demonstrated saponification, purification of metals by electrolysis, electroplating metals, natural indicators, chemical garden.

Hopefully, when the subjects turned complex quickly, we gave our kids a chance to have fun at a young age, mixing up their intelligence and watching chemical reactions, which would help them carry their interest through more complicated days of study ahead.

Social Studies Exhibition

It is an inevitable to highlight the role of social science in today’s society and develop our students to visualise the future of the nation and create sensitive and responsible citizens. The topics range from geography, civics and history like Taj Mahal, pyramid, various revolutions, and old human civilisations.
